This is a partner competition designed to be inclusive, competitive, fun exercising!
DIVISIONS: RX Women, RX Men, Scaled Women & Scaled Men
TEAMS: 20 RX Teams (10 women’s & 10 men’s teams) & 20 Scaled Teams (10 women’s & 10 men’s)
HEATS: There will be 2 heats of 5 teams for each division
TIME: 8:00am – 4pm
COST: $130 per team. Each participant will receive event t-shirt.
AWARDS: Top 3 finishers from each division will podium.
Division Movement Expectations
RX Division
1. All athletes in the RX division should be able to RX most if not all benchmark workouts.
2. Weight Expectations:
a. Clean & Jerk 155/105
b. Snatch 135/95
c. Back Squat 250/150
d. Deadlift 275/185
3. Gymnastic Expectations:
a. Athletes should expect to be able to complete any and all advanced gymnastic movements including but not limited to muscle ups, handstand walks, rope climbs, pistol squats, GHD Sit-Ups, Toes to Bar, etc…
Scaled Division
1. All athletes in the scaled division should be able to complete most benchmark workouts in a scaled fashion with at least 95/65 (barbell weight) for applicable benchmark wods.
2. Weight Expectations:
a. Clean & Jerk 125/85
b. Snatch 95/65
c. Back Squat 185/125
d. Deadlift 225/135
3. Gymnastic Expectations:
a. Athletes should expect to be able to complete any and all basic gymnastic movements including but not limited to ring rows, sit ups, push ups, wall walks, hanging leg raises, jumping, etc…
These lists are in no way, shape, or form a list of all movements to expect as there are too many to list for our sport. The best way to approach which division you should sign up for is to use common sense. The RX division should/will be competitive and will involve experienced athletes used to competition and proficient at the most difficult movements. The scaled divisions are an opportunity to get some of our developing athletes involved in competition with others at their skill level and perfect for masters or teenage competitors not comfortable with Rx standards.
