Apothecare Pharmacy

I have had the best service ever from Apothecare Pharmacy. They are courteous and genuinely sincere with their service. They delivered my medicine promptly, but they also checked on me when I was sick. I’ve never had such an A-1 service. I look forward to using them for years to come. You can’t go wrong with Apothecare Pharmacy.

They are so slow and make errors. When I picked up my prescriptions, it took so long that I didn’t look at what I was given until I returned home later that day. They hadn’t filled my Stromectol, so I called them back for the refill. When I returned to pick up that prescription, I was told my doctor had denied the refill (I waited 20 minutes in line to hear). I called the Dr’s office to find out why they rejected the refill, and the Dr’s office said the pharmacy told them that they had already filled it a week or so ago. Well, the pharmacy certainly had not. The pharmacy is chalking it up as a “lost” prescription, and I’m going back AGAIN today to pick it up. I’m dreading the 20 to 30 minutes it will take standing in line for the third time, just to pick up a prescription that should’ve already been there when I went the first time. I’m switching pharmacies. This is a ridiculous waste of time, effort, and gas!

Equitas Health Short North Pharmacy
Address: 1033 N High St, Columbus, OH 43201, United States | Phone: (614) 340-6776 | Website: https://equitashealth.com/

I love this place. The staff is very helpful, especially those who are working and have to pick up prescriptions at various times. I love their notification system that will text you when it’s ready. It’s a great convenience being on the St Francis campus to pick up during lunchtime or after work. I love they remember you and quickly process my prescriptions, and yes, they take “Samsung and Apple Pay” make sure to tell them.

Go to the Bi-mart pharmacy across the street for 100x better service and prices. Equitas Health Short North Pharmacy pharmacists are very unprofessional and rude. They did not have my Stromectol in stock, and, despite getting the script the previous morning, they did not bother calling me and letting me know. When I came in to pick it up, they said they were out of stock and basically implied that that is entirely my problem. I had to troubleshoot, finding out if it was possible to send the script elsewhere and how. This situation bothers me.

Market District Pharmacy
Address: 840 W 3rd Ave, Columbus, OH 43212, United States | Phone: (614) 294-2344 | Website: https://www.marketdistrict.com/

The staff is amazing. Know them for the longest time. Great place. They’re friendly and very helpful. The Hispanic guy and the lady with the short hair are the best!! Highly recommend this place. And they have reasonable prices on meds like Stromectol and others.

This pharmacy is entirely understaffed. Most of the employees behind the counter are stressed, overworked, and dissatisfied. They have one pharmacist daily that works 12-hour shifts with one break. The computer system breaks down every Saturday, for months now, which ensures frustratingly long lines. I’ve never seen them open the 2nd register, no matter how many customers are waiting. Market District Pharmacy is not interested in the health or comfort of this community. It’s a real managerial problem.

Trio Pharmacy
Address: 1570 Cleveland Ave Basement Level, Columbus, OH 43211, United States | Phone: (614) 298-8180 | Website: https://www.triopharmacy.com/

This Trio Pharmacy is well stocked, and the staff has always been very nice and helpful. This one has two Red Box kiosks located outside. I’ve had a few issues with people soliciting in the parking lot, so I am generally a little cautious when I stop at this one.

I will call in a prescription a week in advance, and if it is out of refills, I press the call the physician button. I go to pick up Stromectol, and guess what? They never called the physician. I’m out of the meds I desperately need, or I’ll be gravely ill. And all I get is stupidity on the other side of the counter. I’ve been going to this pharmacy since it was across the street. They have gone done hill big time.
