Beyond Limits Training is happy to welcome one of it’s own members to the training staff in Katie Rutherford. Since 2010, Katie has been a consistent force in the gym transforming herself in the world of women’s powerlfiting and figure. In 2014, she competed in her first competitions placing 1st at the NPC Kentucky Muscle and winning the Overall Figure title at the OCB Midwest States earning her IFPA Pro card. Perhaps Katie’s greatest achievement has been in her influence not only in the gym, but the fitness community as a whole. Early on she struggled with restricted dieting and finding her place in fitness; only to persevere with hard work, dedication and proper dieting principles.
In 2015, Katie posted a 347 lb squat, 165 lb bench and 364 lb deadlift for Ohio State records at the USAPL Battle of the Great Lakes and she is currently prepping for the NPC Junior Nationals in the Figure division. Her nutrition and powerlfiting coach, Layne Norton, has played an instrumental role in her growth. We look forward to Katie sharing her knowledge and passion for fitness with others.
Katie will be taking only a limited number of personal training clients and plans to specialize in the powerlifiting and contest prep. She earned a B.S. from the Ohio State University in 2013 and earned All-Ohio honors in track and cross country at St. Francis DeSales.
Please Contact Us if interested in utilizing her services. Welcome Katie to the Beyond Limits Training team!!
