Lana is certified in Zumba Basic 1 and 2, as well as Toning. She also works with the YWCA and blends latin dance flavors such as salsa, merengue, bachata, cha-cha, samba, reggaeton, tango with a zest of hip-hop, belly dancing, african and other international rhymes. She has her B.S. and M.B.A. from the Ohio State University in Business Administration, and has worked in commercial real estate for over 10 years.
Lana's rules to Zumba are simple:
1. Go at your own pace. It is easy to modify steps to suit yourself.
2. If your arms and feet do not want to cooperate at the same time, do one or the other. The moves all repeat and we'll get it together.
3. Don't be shy. Nobody is looking at you. They are watching me and themselves in the mirror.
4. Have fun!
